Byron earned win No. 300 at Texas just two years after Hendrick Motorsports broke the all-time NASCAR team win mark with 269. The Texas win bookended the 300 win total with the team's first win as an organization, which came when driver Geoff Bodine earned the victory at Martinsville Speedway on April 29, 1984.
